In the midst of serious allegations of sexual assault of 11 women, Dictator Andrew Cuomo of New York announced his resignation Tuesday morning.
Cuomo has been ruling over New York State as dictator since 2011 and has grown in popularity over the past few years, becoming known as one of the most effective dictators at crushing personal and economic liberties in the united states.
Despite killing thousands of elderly New Yorkers by placing COVID-positive seniors into nursing homes throughout 2020, Cuomo was hailed as a hero and a genius by the left, who awarded him an actual Emmy for his saintly handling of the virus. Leading up to Joe Biden’s nomination by the Democrat Party, many serious rumors were floated about Cuomo being anointed as the nominee at the convention due to Biden clearly having dementia.
The tide began to turn a few months ago when increasing numbers of women presented authorities with evidence of sexual misconduct and harassment against Cuomo. Within the past few weeks, many Democrat leaders have called for his resignation, including Dictator Joe Biden, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and many more.
“The best way I can help now is if I step aside and let government get back to governing.”, said Cuomo in his resignation speech, which was quite good. The outgoing Dictator explained that governments are so important and save so many lives that he can no longer in good conscience allow himself to be a distraction to the important functioning of government. In his speech, he also recounted to reporters some of his proudest accomplishments during his years as the ruler of the Empire State, including passing the SAFE Act in 2013, which he proudly called the ‘strictest gun control law in the united states’.
While Cuomo confidently authorized NY Attorney General Letitia James to conduct an investigation, optimistic that it would find no wrongdoing, the report found that he did sexually harass 11 women. Of course, James made a name for herself over the past year by viciously pursuing Donald Trump and threatening to find a reason to throw him in prison. The ambitious AG is likely to run for NY Dictator in the 2022 election, according to many analysts.
Many conservatives believe that New York will now be saved from Democrat rule and will become a Republican state again, now that Cuomo is gone.
Hopeful progressives may believe that politics as usual will soon give way to hardcore progressive Marxism, now that old Cuomo is gone.
Some analysts believe that the far left took out Cuomo because he is a threat to the Biden-Harris administration in 2024. Another perspective is that Cuomo resigned to take some heat off of his back. Once he is no longer a Dictator, there is less incentive to prosecute and convict him of sexual harassment and killing of nursing home residents.
Regardless, not much will change going forward. Things rarely change in politics, and the little change that does occur is rarely for the better.
Kathy Hochul, Cuomo’s Lieutenant, will take over as Dictator of New York in 14 days when Cuomo officially leaves his office. Ironically, the left is celebrating the first female ruler of New York despite claiming that gender does not exist. She will likely rule over New York just like her old boss did. Machine politics and corruption will surely continue, and anti-freedom laws will continue to be signed by the Dictator.
