In a nefarious public-private partnership, the anti-freedom leftist movement has been using their political capital to pressure major corporations who fear PR nightmares to endorse their gun control agenda. The left has been working on this plan for decades, but modern social media technologies have drastically increased the speed at which businesses could lose money due to public catastrophes. Condemnation by the leftist mob, which conveniently controls nearly all of education, media, and social media can pin a scarlet letter on any entity that does not submit to mob rule.

On Thursday afternoon, CVS Pharmacy said in a Tweet that they request that customers no longer carry firearms into their nearly 10,000 stores unless they work for organized crime (also known as the government). It is unclear as of yet whether this new policy change is a polite request or a legal warning that carrying a firearm in the store will lead to charges. It’s also unclear how CVS plans to inform its non-Twitter customers about their new anti-gun policy. Considering that I often shop at CVS and that I always carry, I’ll be finding a new pharmacy to patronize. This policy change comes just days after Walmart prohibited open-carrying of firearms in all of their 4,000 US stores and decided to stop selling handgun ammunition. Dick’s Sporting Goods has been a gun-free zone for a while, and they have proudly announced that they will ‘no longer sell assault rifles’.

A commenter on the Tweet raised a good point: Why are ‘law enforcement officers’ exempt from the gun ban when they are statistically much more likely to commit murder and other violent crimes than we so called ‘terrorists’?

As we have been warning for years, at the core of the freedom issue is the culture war. The left has been gaining influence in the most important institutions for decades, while the right has been working their jobs and raising their families. Over the past few years and especially the past few days, the radical progressive left is seeing their long-term investment pay dividends. We have spent a lot of time discussing the multi-pronged approach the left uses to push their anti-gun and overall more anti-freedom efforts. One of these methods involves using media and leftist mobs of protestors both online and in-person to coerce the largest businesses (which know they have the most to lose in the PR battle) into adopting anti-gun policies such as becoming gun-free zones, stopping sales of ammunition, or supporting gun control legislation. Clearly, the leftist mob’s pressure got to CVS. We could only imagine how much pressure the progressives have been putting on their leadership and for how long.

Democrats in Congress held an immature protest in 2016 to demand that guns be removed from citizens and given only to cops, soldiers, and themselves. Progressive leaders figure that once free citizens can’t legally carry in half of the places that they visit throughout the day, they’ll stop carrying pistols altogether. Once they derail the incredible momentum of the concealed-carry culture which has been growing throughout the US, they have won a major battle in the war against civilian ownership of firearms.

A major leftist progressive anti-freedom publication, ThinkProgress.com published an article in 2018 about the businesses that have a deal with the NRA which involves giving discounts to their 5 million members. A graphic in the article seems to show 32 such businesses, with a red line crossing out all but 8 of them, indicating that their leftist mob has coerced 24 businesses to cut ties with the NRA due to public pressure. We are in a very real culture war, and the pro-freedom right is being beaten badly, largely due to their poor strategy to fight the battle on thousands of fronts. Due to the right not having widespread influence that the left enjoys in the form of Facebook, Twitter, Google, YouTube, and the like, pro-freedom individuals must concede all of California, all of New Jersey, downstate New York, all of Connecticut and Massachusetts, and the other progressive strongholds and focus only on saving a few super-free states or areas such as Wyoming, New Hampshire, and parts of Texas, Missouri, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Florida, Idaho, and a few other areas.

Those who support property rights, the right to self-defense, and freedom in general must make their voices heard, as well. We can vote with our dollars by totally boycotting CVS, Walmart, Dick’s, and any other company that has opposed freedom and condemned our lifestyle. If these companies lose enough money, they may change their ways, or even go out of business, making way for a pro-freedom business to take their place.

The long-term strategy MUST involve a total separation from the radical anti-freedom left, politically, culturally, and even geographically. Until we understand this and until we implement this strategy, we will continue to be beaten into submission. We tried to be ‘civil’ and co-exist with Democrats. Radical, dangerous, anti-freedom individuals have proven repeatedly that they are hellbent on destroying us, and that they will support the use of organized criminals (AKA government enforcers with guns) to take our money, guns, freedom, and to impose their will on us. We cannot live among people who want our freedom gone, our lifestyle destroyed, and who often call for us to be killed simply for our beliefs. We must live in our own Republic among people with which we can at least co-exist peacefully.
