As a society, we generally condemn the initiation of force (violence) by an individual against another. This concept may seem to be clear-cut; It is okay to use violence to protect your life or property and it is not okay to initiate violence against someone in the absence of a physical threat. Many people believe that it is never acceptable to break into someone’s home in order to steal from them, to punish them for owning an item in their home, or for performing a ‘forbidden’ act on their own property. There is one group of people, however, to which society has granted the authority to initiate violence. Many have gone so far as to encourage this group to use violence against an increasing number of people for an increasing number of reasons, despite these victims doing nothing to harm anyone else. Sometimes, they literally demolish homes of innocent people because they feel like it. After every tragedy, it seems that the same group of people seek to utilize the events in such a way that more reasons for violence are created.
The aforementioned ‘reasons’ are presently known as ‘laws’, and the group of enforcers is presently known as ‘law enforcement’ (LE). LE is the violent arm of the government, meaning that its agents use violence to enforce the will of their leaders in the government. Each time a law is created, the government grants LE one more justification for initiating violence.
The government consists of a collection of predominantly dishonest and corrupt people who often manipulate the voting system in such a manner that allows them to be ‘elected’ to office, sometimes with less than 4% of registered voters voting for them. Using the concept of voting as justification for violence, many people support law enforcement chasing down and punishing drivers for seat belt infractions or for driving without all of the required licenses, plates, inspections, permits, and fees that the government demands. Many people encourage LE to arm themselves with AR-15’s and break into homes of innocent people in order to kidnap their children under the guise of ‘educational neglect’, ‘medical neglect‘, or other justifications for committing violence that make the government seem righteous.
Perhaps the most astounding aspect of this special group possessing the authority to commit wanton acts of violence is that many law enforcement officers are paid handsomely through money confiscated by threat of violence (taxation) which is enforced by – you got it! – more government and LE! Additionally, all of the weapons, vehicles, and other equipment that LE uses are paid for by taxation or alternately, by assets gained through civil asset forfeiture. In the rare cases that government judges rule that government enforcers have acted so recklessly in their violence that their victims deserve compensation, the financial reward is paid in full by funds collected via mass taxation (and camouflaged into the general budget – all of which is funded by taxation of various types).
Keeping this in mind, how would you feel about the creation of additional ‘reasons’ for law enforcement to extort you for money or lock you in a cage as punishment for committing a ‘forbidden‘ act? Imagine that there were currently 50 ‘reasons’ (AKA crimes) for this group to break into your home and steal your property or kidnap you/your children, would you support another 10 reasons being added to the list each time something bad happened? If your answer is yes, ask yourself how you would feel if every time you committed a certain benign act that hurt no one but yourself, armed men broke into your home and dragged you off to a cage, where you would remain until someone from their same institution made a ruling that would determine whether you would stay in the cage, pay a fine, or return to your home (guilty or innocent).
Many people think that these rules only affect evil people and therefore have no effect on their lives. These people must understand this simple truth: The more power we grant to the government and their enforcers, the more power could potentially be used against each and every one of us. Not every member of LE enforces every ‘crime’ every time it is committed. The massive amount of ‘crimes’, however, grants government and LE huge discretion in deciding whom to target.
The radical response to the recent shooting in a high school by the political left-wing demonstrates a great example of manipulation, deception, and Stockholm Syndrome – all of which are being utilized by authoritarians to grant the government and their LE even more power – and the innocent people less freedom. On February 14th, a former student of Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida (we refuse to glorify his name or his face) reportedly entered the school and opened fire on students with an AR-15, killing 17 and injuring several others. This tragedy of innocent children being murdered was immediately politicized by the left in an effort to disarm millions of innocent Americans.
Democrat House Leader, Nancy Pelosi tweeted within minutes of the first shot:
“Too many families have lost someone to the senseless epidemic of gun violence. Congress has a moral responsibility to take common sense action to prevent the daily tragedy of gun violence in communities across America. #EnoughIsEnough”
US Senator Chris Murphy (D-Connecticut) accused all politicians who support liberty of being accomplices to the horrific mass murder:
“Don’t tell me tomorrow isn’t the appropriate time to debate gun violence. If you’re a political leader doing nothing about this slaughter, you’re an accomplice.”
Barack Obama tweeted:
“We are grieving with Parkland. But we are not powerless. Caring for our kids is our first job. And until we can honestly say that we’re doing enough to keep them safe from harm, including long overdue, common-sense gun safety laws that most Americans want, then we have to change.”
Many other Democrat leaders tweeted their support for taking guns away from innocent people using Enforcers – with guns of their own. Their argument is simple: guns do not belong in the hands of American citizens; only the government and LE should have guns, and citizens should call LE when they are in danger! This argument may sound appropriate on the surface, but one of the mainstream news networks themselves recently reported that 4 armed members of LE actually waited outside of the school while the shooter was murdering children, seemingly because they were afraid to engage the threat. While some were upset by this revelation, the issue is not even controversial when it comes to the law: The Supreme Court of the United States has ruled that police officers have no obligation to protect people.
These authoritarian left-wing politicians perpetually capitalize on tragedies to justify taking more power away from citizens and granting more power to themselves. How is this accomplished? In the form of laws. Simply put, laws are merely justification for violence.
How are so many unjust laws created? By convincing the general public that they are ‘for the children and the sick’ or ‘for our safety’. But now you know better; you know that laws represent one thing only: the shift of power from citizens to government. Knowing that over the past few decades, the federal government has been controlled by the likes of Clinton, Bush, Obama, Trump, Comey, Sessions, Schumer, Reid, McConnell, Pelosi, and other morally bankrupt bastards, why would you trust these types of politicians to decide when violence is justifiable against you? And how could you possibly let them disarm you?
In the wake of the horrific tragedy that occurred in Florida on February 14th, so many Americans are searching for a solution to guarantee that no more people die of gun violence. Despite the facts that 1) gun-related deaths are nowhere near the top cause of death in the US, 2) the fact that there are much more gun-related suicides than homicides, and 3) gun-related homicides have a near-perfect relationship to the strictness of gun control in the city, working to decrease any type of tragedy is noble. This article illustrates that the last solution people should consider is disarming more Americans, violating the 2nd amendment even further, creating more excuses for government to punish us, and giving a higher percentage of firearms to LE agents like Brailsford and Peterson. However, eliminating gun-free zones might eliminate all mass shootings. The more armed Americans are present in a given area, the fewer people are killed by guns. A better solution than prohibiting guns would seemingly be to increase the number of gun owners in the US!
Before you grant these politicians more reasons to turn citizens into criminals and initiate violence against them using their LE with their own guns, I urge you to reconsider how much faith you have in your government’s righteousness.
