The two-party system, voting for the lesser of two evils, you get it already, we all do. We all feel fed up with the results of our representative democracy. We are both frustrated and confused about who our elected officials are. Do you know who represents you in your state’s House of Representatives? And if you do know their name, do you know their voting record?
It is a fact that the united states will not last forever as one union. John Adams said in 1814: “Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.”
Anyone who follows Bernie Sanders on Twitter knows that he’s always ranting and raving about how expensive insulin is in the united states. But while he’s pushing a government takeover of all private businesses, ‘Medicare for all’, or some sort of price-capping regulation, I have a better idea.
Happy rich people will tell you ‘money can’t buy happiness’. Most people struggling financially would strongly disagree with that statement. Of course, you have bills to pay and mouths to feed. Money will make the source of your misery disappear, allowing you to be happier. How could anyone say that money can’t buy happiness when it easily cures so much misery?
By moving to any of the many progressive states, intolerant progressive authoritarians will immediately find a lifestyle much more to their liking than they ever will enjoy by remaining here. And New Hampshire will be freed to continue shining its beacon of hope to tyrannized people everywhere, with far less hostility in its midst for daring to be the one free state in an otherwise unfree world.
Concerned parents, teachers, and staff have been labeled akin to “domestic terrorists” at the recent Timberlane School Board meetings over the last few months. In November 2021, Nolan Pelletier (chairman of the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire and concerned parent) was arrested for “criminal trespass” or, in other words, he chose to not segregate himself in the “disabled” section for his choice not to wear a mask.
Since I haven’t seen any real changes over the past few decades and have only seen the worsening over reach and monetary influence of the federal government, I’d like the chance to vote on our ability to peacefully leave the union. It no longer supports my values or the American constitution. I want NH to be free again.
Many people likely believe that the united states could be placed back on the right track if their preferred rulers are elected. However, an increasing amount of people are warming up to the idea of the united states breaking up into two, three, or fifty sovereign nations. A recent poll found that more than half of Trump voters support secession and nearly half of Biden voters support secession.
If you were born on and/or in, and live on and/or in, any part of the three American continents – namely North America, Central America or South America – you are – technically speaking – an ‘American’. But what does that really mean?
